Appeal Rights

If you want to appeal any notice of denial, you may file a request for a fair hearing before an impartial hearing officer.

To request a fair hearing, you must file a written request with the Office of Administrative Hearings, 1020 S. Kansas Avenue, Topeka, KS 66612 within 30 days of the written notice.
If KDHE-DHCF mailed this notice of denial to you, K.S.A. 77-531 allows you an additional three days to file such a request.

Trading Partner Information
Regularly scheduled maintenance times are necessary to keep the KMAP website operating smoothly. Occasionally, we must conduct unscheduled maintenance projects. We strive to provide clear and helpful information on these issues as they arise. Check frequently for updates.

Scheduled Maintenance
The KMAP website will be unavailable during our regularly scheduled maintenance periods, from 1:00 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. Saturday through Thursday and from 1:00 a.m. until 5:00 a.m. each Friday.

Unscheduled Maintenance

There is no planned maintenance outside of our normal maintenance schedule.

National Provider Identifier Information

The National Provider Identifier (NPI) is a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Administrative Simplification Standard. NPIs are required for all covered health care providers as well as all health plans and health care clearinghouses in the administrative and financial transactions adopted under HIPAA.
